Sometimes things get a little fuzzy during an afternoon at the office, avoiding being productive as much as possible. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were making plans to start drinking.

The Padres (62-84) scored more runs than the San Francisco Giants (77-68), 3-1, yesterday afternoon at AT&T Park, completing a three-game sweep.

Luis Perdomo (8-9, 5.68) allowed one run on four hits and a walk in six and a third innings with five strikeouts. Brandon Crawford scored on a Joe Panik single in the second inning.

Madison Bumgarner (14-9, 2.66) pitched six and two-thirds innings, giving up three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five. Yangervis Solarte‘s RBI groundout drove in Luis Sardinas in the first inning. In the sixth inning, Alex Dickerson singled and took second base on the throw while Sardinas scored again. Sardinas’ single in the seventh inning scored Adam Rosales.

The Padres have today off as they head to Denver for three games versus the Colorado Rockies (69-76). Christian Friedrich (5-10, 4.67) takes the mound tomorrow against Tyler Chatwood (11-9, 3.82) starting at 5:40pm PDT.
