Sometimes things get a little fuzzy after a night in the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you might have missed while you were drinking.
Last night was shaping up to be the worst game ever but somehow Eric Stults escaped the first inning after giving up only 4 runs. The Padres worked their way back into the game with HRs from Hundley and Gyorko and held on to a 7-5 victory.

Two up, two down: Padres 7, Rockies 5 – Jeff Sanders (U-T)
“I think everyone in here was embarrassed after that (Monday’s game),” said Padres second baseman Jedd Gyorko, who homered for the second time in as many days. [Brock]

Nick Hundley has more home runs than Chase Headley. Let that sink in for a second. #ExtendChase

Will Venable led off the game with a single and then put fans on cycle watch in the second inning after this RBI triple. He fell a home run short.
This hippie made a stellar grab of a foul ball with his beer cup. Well deserved kudos from his fellow fans.
Jedd Gyorko goes oppo on consecutive days for a home run. Nice.
