Sometimes things get a little fuzzy after a night in the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you might have missed while you were drinking.
Carlos Quentin had an RBI single in the 1st inning. That was all that Tyson Ross needed. Giving up 3 hits & only 1 walk, Ross pitched 8 innings of shutout baseball. Huston Street came in for the 9th for his 19th save of the season. The Padres won 1-0, taking the 3-game series from Arizona, and finishing their 10-game post-All-Star Game road trip at 6-4.
The Padres come home to Petco Park for 8 games (8? What the what?) starting today. 3 against the Cincinatti Reds, 3 against the New York Yankees, and 2 against the Baltimore Orioles.

Bar in San Diego gave us Padres pregame show before switching to some soccer match in Chicago. Oh well, nice try.
