Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an afternoon at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (42-55) scored fewer runs than the San Francisco Giants (38-61), 5-4, in 12 innings yesterday afternoon at AT&T Park.

Luis Perdomo (4-5, 4.71) gave up four runs (one earned) in six innings on eight hits and two walks with four strikeouts. Joe Panik singled to drive in Gorkys Hernandez in the third inning. In the fourth inning, Orlando Calixte singled to score Hunter Pence and Eduardo Nunez singled to drive in Calixte and Matt Moore. Nick Hundley singled in the twelfth inning to drive in Kelby Tomlinson for the game-winning run.

Moore (3-10, 5.82) allowed four runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out seven in six innings. All four Padres’ runs came in the fourth inning. Wil Myers led off the inning with a solo home run, Cory Spangenberg scored on a Luis Torrens single, and Perdomo tripled to drive in Matt Szczur and Torrens.

This afternoon’s series finale has Dinelson Lamet (3-4, 6.40) going against Ty Blach (6-5, 4.36) beginning at 1:05pm PDT.
