Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (70-88) scored fewer runs than the Los Angeles Dodgers (101-57), 9-2, at Dodger Stadium last night.

Dinelson Lamet (7-8, 4.57) allowed four runs on four hits and six walks while striking out seven in five innings. Chase Utley scored on a Cody Bellinger ground out in the third inning. Yasmani Grandal hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning. Corey Seager‘s sixth inning single drove in Enrique Hernandez. Adrian Gonzalez hit a solo home run and Seager hit a three-run home run in the seventh inning.

Alex Wood (16-3, 2.72) gave up two runs in six innings on eight hits and a walk with one strikeout. Christian Villanueva hit a solo home run and Hunter Renfroe set the Padres rookie record for home runs in a season (25) one out later in the fifth inning.
