Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (68-84) scored fewer runs than the Arizona Diamondbacks (88-65), 13-7, last night in the finale of their three-game series at Petco Park.

Dinelson Lamet (7-7, 4.15) allowed six runs on six hits and a walk in five and a third innings with four strikeouts. David Peralta hit a solo home run to lead off the first inning. Jake Lamb hit a solo home run in the second inning. J.D. Martinez hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning. A.J. Pollock hit a three-run home run in the ninth inning.

Robbie Ray (14-5, 2.74) gave up five runs in four and a third innings on five hits and five walks while striking out six. Rocky Gale hit his first Major League home run, a two-run shot in the second inning. Hunter Renfroe hit three home runs: a two-run in the third inning and solo shots in the fifth inning and the ninth inning. Christian Villanueva hit his first Major League home run in the fifth inning.

There were a total of nine home runs hit in this game, a new Petco Park single game record.

The Colorado Rockies come to Petco Park for four games to finish out the Padres home schedule for 2017 beginning tonight at 7:10pm PDT. Clayton Richard (7-14, 4.82) gets the start tonight against Tyler Anderson (5-5, 5.28).
