Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (68-83) scored more runs than the Arizona Diamondbacks (87-65) last night at Petco Park, 6-2.

Travis Wood (4-6, 6.55) allowed two runs on three hits and two walks in six innings with three strikeouts. A.J. Pollock hit two solo home runs, one the lead off the game in the first inning and the second in the sixth inning.

Zack Godley (8-8, 3.20) gave up five runs over five innings on eight hits and three walks while striking out six. Manuel Margot scored on Wil Myers‘ single and Yangervis Solarte drove in Carlos Asuaje with a sacrifice fly in the first inning. Myers scored on a Solarte single and Solarte later scored with Cory Spangenberg on Wood’s third inning single. Asuaje singled in Margot in the sixth inning.

Dinelson Lamet (7-7, 4.15) starts tonight’s series finale against Robbie Ray (14-5, 2.74) beginning at 6:10pm PDT.
