Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (64-78) scored more runs than the Arizona Diamondbacks (82-59), 10-6, in the first of three games at Chase Field.

Jordan Lyles (1-2, 6.75) gave up four runs in five innings on six hits and no walks with six strikeouts. Rey Fuentes hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning. Ketel Marte scored on Jake Lamb‘s double, J.D. Martinez hit a two-run home run, and Daniel Descalso scored on a double by Brandon Drury in the sixth inning.

Patrick Corbin (13-12, 4.16) allowed eight runs on eleven hits and three walks with three strikeouts in four and a third innings.

Jhoulys Chacin (12-10, 3.96) starts tonight’s second game against Zack Godley (7-7, 3.21) beginning at 5:10pm PDT.
