Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (62-78) scored fewer runs than the St Louis Cardinals (72-67) last night at Petco Park, 3-1.

Dinelson Lamet (7-7, 4.32) gave up two runs on three hits and four walks while striking out eight in six-plus innings. Stephen Piscotty hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning. Tommy Pham scored on Harrison Bader‘s sacrifice fly in the eighth inning.

Jack Flaherty (0-0, 6.00) allowed one run in five innings on three hits and four walks with four strikeouts. Yangervis Solarte hit a solo home run to lead off the bottom of the fourth inning.

Clayton Richard (6-13, 4.94) starts this evening’s series finale against Lance Lynn (10-6, 2.99) beginning at 6:10pm PDT.
