Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (59-75) scored fewer runs than the Los Angeles Dodgers (92-41), 1-0, last night in the first of four games at Petco Park.

Dinelson Lamet (7-6, 4.40) allowed one run on six hits and three walks while striking out ten in six innings. Justin Turner scored on a Chase Utley single in the sixth inning.

Clayton Kershaw (12-2, 1.95) gave up two infield hits over six innings while not issuing a walk and striking out seven. Brandon Morrow, Tony Watson, and Kenley Jansen combined did not allow a single baserunner over the final three innings.

The teams play a day/night doubleheader today. The first game is a makeup game from May 7th due to rain and starts at 12:40pm PDT. Clayton Richard (6-13, 4.96) takes the mound against Brock Stewart (0-0, 3.38). The second game begins at 7:10pm PDT with Jordan Lyles (0-2, 6.94) getting the start versus Yu Darvish (8-10, 3.88).
