Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (58-74) scored more runs than the San Francisco Giants (53-81), 6-3, last night at Petco Park.

Luis Perdomo (7-8, 4.69) gave up two runs (one earned) in six innings on seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts. In the first inning, Joe Panik scored on a bunt single by Matt Moore and an error by Cory Spangenberg and a Denard Span double drove in Nick Hundley. Panik also hit a solo home run in the eighth inning.

Moore (4-13, 5.49) allowed five runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out two in five innings. Wil Myers scored on Spangenberg’s single in the second inning. Jabari Blash led off the fourth inning with a solo home run and Manuel Margot hit a three-run home run. A Carlos Asuaje single in the sixth inning drove in Spangenberg.

Travis Wood (3-4, 6.03) starts tonight’s series finale against Ty Blach (8-10, 4.68). First pitch is set for 6:10pm PDT.
