Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (55-68) scored more runs than the Washington Nationals (73-48) last night at Petco Park, 3-1.

Travis Wood (3-4, 5.81) allowed one unearned run on three hits and two walks in seven innings while striking out two. Jose Lobaton scored on Adrian Sanchez‘ double in the fifth inning.

Stephen Strasburg (10-4, 3.24) gave up two runs in six innings on four hits and a walk with eight strikeouts. Yangervis Solarte hit a two-run home run in the first inning. Wil Myers scored on a double play groundout by Austin Hedges in the seventh inning.

Dinelson Lamet (7-4, 4.78) starts this afternoon’s series finale against Gio Gonzalez (11-5, 2.49) beginning at 1:40pm PDT.
