Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (5-7) scored fewer runs than the Atlanta Braves (4-6) at SunTrust Park, 4-2.

Clayton Richard (1-2, 3.60) gave up all four Braves’ runs on nine hits and two walks with two strikeouts over six innings. In the third inning, RBI singles by Dansby Swanson and Nick Markakis scored the first two Braves’ runs. And back-to-back solo home runs by Brandon Phillips and Adonis Garcia in the sixth inning accounted for the other two runs.

R.A. Dickey (1-1, 3.86) surrendered both Padres’ runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six in six innings. The Padres’ runs came from back-to-back solo home runs by Hunter Renfroe and Austin Hedges with one out in the second inning.

This afternoon, Trevor Cahill (0-1, 3.18) returns to take on Bartolo Colon (0-1, 6.30) starting at 10:35pm PDT.
