Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (51-65) scored fewer runs than the Los Angeles Dodgers (82-34), 6-3, last night at Dodger Stadium.

Jhoulys Chacin (11-8, 4.06) gave up one run on four hits and four walks while striking out three in five innings. Chris Taylor scored on a Justin Turner sacrifice fly in the first inning. Corey Seager‘s bases-loaded single in the sixth inning scored Yasmani Grandal, Chase Utley, and Yasiel Puig. Cody Bellinger hit a solo home run to lead off the seventh inning. Taylor hit a solo home run in the eighth inning.

Hyun-Jin Ryu (4-6, 3.63) allowed three runs in five innings on seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts. Jose Pirela scored on a double by Hunter Renfroe in the third inning. Chacin singled in the fourth inning to drive in Yangervis Solarte. Wil Myers hit a solo home run in the fifth inning.

Luis Perdomo (6-6, 4.81) starts this afternoon’s series finale against Kenta Maeda (10-4, 3.69). First pitch is set for 1:10pm PDT.
