Sometimes things get a little fuzzy during an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (38-49) scored fewer runs than the Los Angeles Dodgers (49-40), 10-6, last night in the second game of their four game series at Dodger Stadium.

Andrew Cashner (3-7, 5.40) pitched just two and two-thirds innings, giving up eight runs on eight hits and three walks with two strikeouts. Cashner gave up four home runs. Justin Turner‘s solo home run and Yasmani Grandal‘s two-run home run came in the first inning. Grandal added a three-run home run and Howie Kendrick hit a solo home run in the second inning. Grandal hit another home run off Jose Dominguez in the seventh inning, a solo shot.

Scott Kazmir (7-3, 4.52) had his own problems, lasting just three innings while surrendering three runs on six hits and three walks while striking out five. Wil Myers drove in Melvin Upton Jr. with a single in the first inning. In the second inning, Upton Jr. hit a two-run home run. Upton Jr. added a solo home run in the fourth inning. Christian Bethancourt came home on a Adam Rosales sacrifice fly and pinch-hitter Brett Wallace drove in Alexei Ramirez with a single in the fifth.

Tonight’s game is on Fox — NOT Fox Sports San Diego — starting at 4:15pm. Luis Perdomo (3-3, 7.93) takes the mound against Brandon McCarthy (1-0, 0.00) in game three of four at Dodger Stadium.
