Sometimes things get a little fuzzy during an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (30-42) scored more runs than the Baltimore Orioles (40-30) last night, 10-7, in the first of two games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Luis Perdomo (2-2, 9.00) allowed six runs on seven hits and two walk in five innings while striking out eight. Adam Jones‘ RBI double scored Francisco Pena in the third inning and Hyun Soo Kim singled to bring in Jones. Pedro Alvarez hit two two-run home runs, both with Jonathan Schoop on base, in the fourth inning and the fifth inning.

Tyler Wilson (3-5, 4.19) pitched six innings, giving up three runs on nine hits and a walk with four strikeouts. Matt Kemp opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first inning to bring Travis Jankowski home. Derek Norris added a run with a solo home run to lead off the fourth inning. Wil Myers came up two outs later and single to score Alexei Ramirez. In the seventh inning, Yangervis Solarte‘s RBI single plated Kemp, Norris walked with the bases loaded to drive in Solarte, and a wild pitch by Oliver Drake allowed Melvin Upton Jr. to cross the plate. In the ninth inning, Ramirez singled to score Norris, Christian Bethancourt came home on a Jankowski sacrifice bunt, and Kemp singled to score Ramirez.

Erik Johnson (0-2, 8.44) gets the start tonight against TBA, with first pitch scheduled for 4:05pm PDT.
