Sometimes things get a little fuzzy during an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (25-35) scored more runs than the Atlanta Braves (16-42) in the second game of three at Petco Park last night, 4-3, on a Wil Myers walk off single in the ninth inning.

Neither Colin Rea (3-2, 4.74) nor Aaron Blair (0-4, 7.13) figured in the decision. Rea pitched seven innings, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five batters. The Braves’ first run came in the first inning on an RBI double by Nick Markakis to score Freddie Freeman. In the third inning, Chase d’Arnaud singled to drive in Ender Inciarte and Markakis plated d’Arnaud on a sacrifice fly.

Blair pitched just four and a third innings, allowing two runs on six hits and three walk with four strikeouts. Matt Kemp‘s RBI single in the first inning drove Wil Myers home for the Padres’ first run. In the fifth inning, a sacrifice fly by Melvin Upton Jr. with the bases loaded allowed Jon Jay to score. Derek Norris hit a solo home run to lead off the ninth inning and Myers’ one-out single drove Alexei Ramirez home for the walkoff win.

The Padres get a shot at the series sweep this afternoon starting at 12:40pm PDT. Drew Pomeranz (5-5, 2.22) takes the mound against Julio Teheran (1-6, 2.92).
