Sometimes things get a little fuzzy during an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (16-21) scored fewer runs than the Milwaukee Brewers (15-21), 1-0, in the second of four games at Miller Park last night.

Christian Friedrich (0-1, 1.50) made his Padres debut in Andrew Cashner‘s (who was placed on the disabled list earlier in the day) spot in the rotation, throwing 116 pitches over six innings with four hits, six walks, and four strikeouts. Friedrich surrendered the only run in the first inning on a sacrifice fly by Chris Carter to score D0mingo Santana.

Junior Guerra (2-0, 4.00) pitched six innings, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out four. The closest the Friars came to getting on the scoreboard was in the fifth inning. Adam Rosales doubled with one out and took third base on wild pitch to Friedrich. But Friedrich struck out and Jon Jay grounded to second base for the third out.

Tonight, Luis Perdomo (1-0, 9.88) gets the start against Wily Peralta (2-4, 6.75). First pitch is at 4:10pm PDT.
