Sometimes things get a little fuzzy during an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (11-16) scored more runs than the Colorado Rockies (12-14), 6-3, to take the second of three games at Petco Park last night.

Andrew Cashner (2-2, 4.85) started out shaky, giving up two quick runs before recording an out in the first inning. Charlie Blackmon led off the game with a home run to right field and Trevor Story scored on a Mark Reynolds sacrifice fly. Story then knocked in DJ Lemahieu with a two-out single in the second inning. Cashner finished after six innings pitched with five hits and three walks while striking out six.

Eddie Butler (0-1, 6.75) pitched five and two-thirds innings, giving up five runs on four hits and a walk with three strikeouts. Matt Kemp and Brett Wallace hit back-to-back solo home runs with two out in the fourth inning. In the sixth inning, Wil Myers doubled to knock in Jon Jay, Wallace doubled to score Myers, and Alexei Ramirez singled to bring Adam Rosales home. Myers hit another RBI single in the seventh inning to score Jay.

The series wraps up this afternoon at 12:40pm PDT with Cesar Vargas (0-0, 3.87) getting the start versus Tyler Chatwood (3-2, 2.73).
