Sometimes things get a little fuzzy during an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (50-69) scored fewer runs than the Tampa Bay Rays (49-69), 15-1, at Tropicana Field yesterday in the game two or three.

Edwin Jackson (3-3, 5.36) was pretty much this. And Carlos Villanueva wasn’t any better.

Blake Snell (3-5, 3.18) allowed the one run in five innings on five hits and four walks while striking out eight. Derek Norris scored the run in the fourth inning when Alexei Ramirez drew a bases-loaded walk.

The Padres try to avoid the sweep this morning at 10:10am PDT with Christian Friedrich (4-8, 4.84) getting the start against Chris Archer (6-16, 4.39).
