While You Were Drinking 2015 Game 51 (PIT vs SD)

Sometimes things get a little fuzzy after an evening in the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you might have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (24-27) scored fewer runs than the Pittsburgh Pirates (26-23) last night, 5-2.

Tyson Ross (2-5, 3.76) allowed three runs (two earned) in six innings on seven hits and two walks with two strikeouts. The Pirates took advantage of Ross’ tendency to not hold runners on with three stolen bases, all in the second inning.

Charlie Morton (2-0, 1.93) pitched seven innings, allowing both Padres’ runs (one earned) on three hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Yangervis Solarte had the hardest hit ball against Morton, with his RBI-double in the first inning.

This evening pits Odrisamer Despaigne (2-3, 5.23) against the Pirates’ Jeff Locke (3-2, 7.40) at a special time of 6:10pm PDT, thanks to the Rock N Roll Marathon.
