While You Were Drinking 2015 Game 43 (SD at LAD)

Sometimes things get a little fuzzy after an evening in the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you might have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (20-23) scored fewer runs, 2-1, than the Los Angeles Dodgers (25-16) last night in the first of three games at Dodger Stadium.

Andrew Cashner (1-7, 2.89) did not figure in the decision after only allowing one unearned run in six innings on five hit and a walk with three strikeouts. Joaquin Benoit earned the loss after Joc Pederson hit a solo home run with one out in the eighth inning.

Zack Greinke (5-1, 1.48) also did not get a decision, as he was pulled with two outs in the eighth inning after allowing a run on a double by Will Venable to score Derek Norris from second base. Greinke left the game with the one run on six hits, one walk, and five strikeouts.

Tonight at 7:10pm PDT pits Ian Kennedy (2-3, 6.75) against Mike Bolsinger (2-0, 1.04) in the second game of the series.
