Sometimes things get a little fuzzy after spending the evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (69-78) scored more runs than the Arizona Diamondbacks (69-77) last night, 4-3, in the final game at Chase Field for 2015.

Andrew Cashner (6-15, 4.25) pitched seven innings, allowing all three Diamondbacks’ run on seven hits and two walks with six strikeouts. Chris Owings hit a bases loaded two-RBI single in the fourth inning, scoring David Peralta and Jake Lamb. Jarrod Saltalamacchia hit a solo home run in the sixth inning.

Robbie Ray (4-12, 3.72) lasted just four and two-thirds innings, allowing all four Padres’ runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four. In the fourth inning, Brett Wallace doubled with one out, scoring on Cory Spangenberg‘s single to center field. Matt Kemp hit a three-run home run in the fifth, driving in Wil Myers and Yangervis Solarte in the process. Craig Kimbrel recorded a four-out save and also took his first ever turn at the plate, striking out on five pitches to end the top of the ninth inning.

The Padres are off today as they travel to Denver for three games with the Colorado Rockies (61-85) starting tomorrow at 5:40pm PDT. Ian Kennedy (8-14, 4.28) gets the start in the first game against Chad Bettis (7-5, 4.59).
