While You Were Drinking 2014 Game 10 (DET vs SD)

Sometimes things get a little fuzzy after an evening in the pub. Especially when Andrew Cashner is dressing the Tiger–I mean–deer. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you might have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres defeated the Detroit Tigers 6-0 last night, led by Andrew Cashner‘s complete game, 1-hit, 11 strikeout pitching performance and Chase Headley‘s breakout performance at the plate. The Tigers’ Rick Porcello lasted 6 1/3 innings, giving up 5 runs on 10 hits with 5 strikeouts.

But the player of the game was easily Cashner, who struck out Miguel Cabrera to end the game.

Tomorrow, pits Ian Kennedy against Justin Verlander at 5:40 pm PDT. The Padres will be giving away long-sleeve t-shirts to all fans at the game.
