Sometimes things get a little fuzzy during a Sunday afternoon at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (59-84) scored fewer runs than the Colorado Rockies (68-74), 3-2 in 10 innings, yesterday afternoon in the Rockies final game of 2016 at Petco Park.

Edwin Jackson (4-5, 5.32) gave up two runs on five hits and a walk in six innings while striking out four. Charlie Blackmon opened the scoring with a solo home run in the fourth inning. Blackmon then singled in the fifth inning to drive in Nick Hundley, but was thrown out at second base. Mark Reynolds scored the go-ahead run with a solo home run off Kevin Quackenbush in the tenth inning.

Chad Bettis (12-7, 4.78) pitched seven innings, surrendering two runs on four hits and a walk with five strikeouts. Travis Jankowski scored on a Wil Myers triple and Myers came in on a Yangervis Solarte sacrifice fly in the sixth inning.

The Padres head to San Francisco and AT&T Park to face the Giants (77-65) for three games beginning tonight at 7:15pm PDT. Paul Clemens (2-5, 5.44) gets the start tonight against Jeff Samardzija (11-9, 4.00).
