Sometimes things get a little fuzzy during a Sunday afternoon at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (56-80) scored less runs than the Los Angeles Dodgers (76-60) yesterday at Dodger Stadium, 7-4.

Christian Friedrich (4-10, 4.99) gave up four runs on six hits and three walks with four strikeouts in four and a third innings. Yasiel Puig hit a three-run home run in the third inning. In the fifth inning, a Chase Utley single drove in Justin Turner and Puig scored on a single by Yasmani Grandal. Grandal hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning.

Jose De Leon (1-0, 6.00) won his Major League debut while surrendering four runs on six hits and no walks with striking out nine in six innings. Yangervis Solarte hit a two-run home run with Travis Jankowski on base in the third inning. Alexi Amarista scored on a throwing error on a Jankowski bunt single and Jankowski scored on a Solarte sacrifice fly in the fifth inning.

The Padres return home to Petco Park for three games against the Boston Red Sox (76-60) starting this afternoon at 1:40pm PDT. Edwin Jackson (3-5, 6.26) gets the start against former Padre Drew Pomeranz (10-10, 3.00).
