The Padres (64-87) scored more runs than the Arizona Diamondbacks (63-88) last night, 5-2, in the second of three games at Petco Park. The game started after an hour and ten minute rain delay.
Archie Bradley (7-9, 5.00) gave up two runs on two hits and three walks in five innings while striking out seven. Ryan Schimpf scored on an Alex Dickerson double in the second inning. Schimpf scored again on an Adam Rosales sacrifice fly in the fourth inning. Schimpf came home once more on a Rosales two-run home run in the sixth inning. Rosales’ sacrifice fly in the eighth inning drove Wil Myers in. Rosales ended his night with four RBI and Schimpf ended up with three runs scored.
