Sometimes things can get a little fuzzy after an evening at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (58-74) scored more runs than the San Francisco Giants (53-81), 6-3, last night at Petco Park.

Luis Perdomo (7-8, 4.69) gave up two runs (one earned) in six innings on seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts. In the first inning, Joe Panik scored on a bunt single by Matt Moore and an error by Cory Spangenberg and a Denard Span double drove in Nick Hundley. Panik also hit a solo home run in the eighth inning.

Moore (4-13, 5.49) allowed five runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out two in five innings. Wil Myers scored on Spangenberg’s single in the second inning. Jabari Blash led off the fourth inning with a solo home run and Manuel Margot hit a three-run home run. A Carlos Asuaje single in the sixth inning drove in Spangenberg.

Travis Wood (3-4, 6.03) starts tonight’s series finale against Ty Blach (8-10, 4.68). First pitch is set for 6:10pm PDT.

The Padres (42-55) scored fewer runs than the San Francisco Giants (38-61), 5-4, in 12 innings yesterday afternoon at AT&T Park.

Luis Perdomo (4-5, 4.71) gave up four runs (one earned) in six innings on eight hits and two walks with four strikeouts. Joe Panik singled to drive in Gorkys Hernandez in the third inning. In the fourth inning, Orlando Calixte singled to score Hunter Pence and Eduardo Nunez singled to drive in Calixte and Matt Moore. Nick Hundley singled in the twelfth inning to drive in Kelby Tomlinson for the game-winning run.

Moore (3-10, 5.82) allowed four runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out seven in six innings. All four Padres’ runs came in the fourth inning. Wil Myers led off the inning with a solo home run, Cory Spangenberg scored on a Luis Torrens single, and Perdomo tripled to drive in Matt Szczur and Torrens.

This afternoon’s series finale has Dinelson Lamet (3-4, 6.40) going against Ty Blach (6-5, 4.36) beginning at 1:05pm PDT.
