Sometimes things get a little fuzzy during a Sunday afternoon at the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you may have missed while you were drinking.

The Padres (26-38) scored fewer runs than the Colorado Rockies (30-33), 2-1, yesterday afternoon at Coors Field. The Padres continue their streak of not winning on Sundays. They’ve now lost ten games in a row on Sundays in 2016.

Christian Friedrich (2-1, 2.12) pitched six innings, giving up an unearned run on two hits and three walks while striking out nine batters. Charlie Blackmon scored in the sixth inning after singling and advancing to second base on Alexei Ramirez‘s throwing error on DJ LeMahieu‘s ground ball in the next at-bat. After a walk to Nolan Arenado and Carlos Gonzalez‘s strikeout, Blackmon came home on Ryan Raburn‘s bases-loaded walk. Kevin Quackenbush gave up a leadoff home run to Mark Reynolds in the seventh inning.

Tyler Anderson (0-0, 1.42), making his Major League debut, pitched six and third innings, allowing one run on six hits and no walks with six strikeouts. In the seventh inning, Ramirez scored the Padres’ only run after hitting a ground-rule double to center field and scoring on Jon Jay‘s RBI single.

The Padres come back to San Diego and Petco Park for three games against the Miami Marlins (32-31). Tonight’s game features Colin Rea (3-2, 4.74) starting against Wei-Yin Chen (3-2, 4.56) with the first pitch scheduled for 7:10pm PDT.
