Jhoulys Chacin (3-3, 5.26) gave up one run on four hits and a walk in five and a third innings with three strikeouts. Cody Bellinger hit a solo home run in the fourth inning. In the seventh inning, Chris Taylor and Franklin Gutierrez scored on Andrew Toles‘ double. Taylor’s eighth inning single drove in Yasiel Puig. In the ninth inning, Yasmani Grandal singled to drive in Corey Seager and Bellinger hit a three-run home run.
