I probably don’t need to tell you this but San Diego is quite the town for craft beers. Named by Esquire Magazine as one of the 7 best cities in America for craft beer, San Diego’s reputation is well-established and well-earned as a destination drinking town for hopheads.
Per Tom Garfinkel’s Twitter page comes the announcement that there will be a Ballast Point Beer Garden at Petco Park this year.
(Quick Aside: Tom Garfinkel’s Twitter account is kind of a riot. Regardless of your opinion of him, the guy has a sense of humor. He has tweeted at Kristen Bell, follows Steve Martin, and will provide occasional fun/useless trivia like this:)

According to Mr. Garfinkel the Ballast Point Beer Garden will be the entire patio behind the Left Field scoreboard.
So, they may not have signed that great starting pitcher. And yes, Casey Kelly needs Tommy John surgery and Chase Headley is likely to begin the season on the DL.
But at least we’ll have Sculpin.
