The joy of Twitter during a Padres game

Following a Padres game via twitter can be great fun. You see, sometimes the game shows you an image like this of Fox sideline reporter Kelly Crull where she proceeds to comment on the cold weather in the Bay Area:

Such images will invariably prompt a clever fan to tweet something like this:

When thoughts like this are put forth before the masses, creativity ensues. I give you the creation of @RallyPlantain:

So funny, yet so wrong – @RallyPlantain is completely fucked in the head. He’s like you and I. You should follow him.

Hopefully the Padres can pull one out today against the defending champs. A week on the road in which the Padres go 4-2 would be a fantastic success.

Here’s to Eric Stults doing great things today. And to Kelly Crull staying warm.

*Although not really that clever because I’ve used this line before, I’m sure of it.

I contribute to Padres Public on Thursday mornings and when I’m feeling particularly inspired. I can also be found on twitter at @AvengingJM where I make fun of Lance Berkman’s eye-liner, 7 days a week.
